The admission requirements are as follows:
The structure of the MSc programme involves following one taught module for each of four semesters over two years and participating in a Study Visit to London between the two years; the final module is a dissertation supervised jointly by King’s and NUS (all modules counting equally). Exceptionally, a student with background neither in law nor construction will be required to follow two taught modules in the first semester; a student already dual qualified may be exempted from both modules in the first semester. Each taught module has a total of approximately 72 contact hours.
Each contact hour in a taught module requires at least four hours’ additional private study (72 x 4 = 288 hours), and each piece of coursework requires an additional four hours’ work. The Study Visit also requires at least 100 hours of student input; and the dissertation involves at least 350 hours’ work.
