The fees for the programme are reviewed annually. For Academic Year 2007-2008, the annual programme fees are:

The stated fees refer only to the programme tuition fees and are exclusive of registration, examination and other incidental fees. Each application for the programme must be accompanied by an Application Fee of S$30 or US$20 (inclusive of GST).
Financial Assistance
Requests for financial assistance of up to 30% of the 1st-year fees will be considered in cases of genuine financial hardship. Such requests should be indicated by a tick in the relevant box on the application form and the applicants must be prepared to furnish evidence of their financial situation if shortlisted
Sponsorship by your employer or firm
If you intend to secure financial support from a sponsor, please approach them as you prepare your application for the programme: send a letter of support from them with your application, confirming sponsorship and identifying the person to whom invoices should be sent.
Other details
The programme fee covers the following:
- attendance at all classes;
- marking of all coursework;
- the Study Visit to London (but not air fares, accommodation or subsistence during the visit);
- the fees for examinations and for the marking of your first attempt at the tests in each module and at the dissertation; and
- the award of the degree at the end of the programme (though not the hire of robes, etc, for attendance at a degree ceremony).
Additional fees apply for the following:
- the award-writing examination;
- for resitting an examination and for your continued registration while you wait to resit or if you have deferred an examination or your dissertation;
- for submitting a dissertation at a second attempt.
All students are given details of the current fees and charges, revised annually, at the start of each academic year
Methods of payment
Cash payments should be made personally to the Cashier, Office of Finance, NUS. Do not send cash by mail with the application form. Cheques / money orders / bank drafts should be made payable to National University of Singapore. Please indicate on the reverse side your name and contact numbers, and the programme you are applying for. Please ensure that these are written correctly and legibly.
