Comments from students on the programme

“This MSc programme allows me to know how much I do not know and how much more I need to know in order to provide comprehensive professional advice as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. In addition, when confronted by a legal argument, this course equips me with the ability to systematically demolish that argument in a way that you would never imagine possible!”

Koon Tak Hong, 27, chartered quantity surveyor

“The demands of intellectual rigours together with invaluable industry insights gained from close interaction with many of the ‘leading lights’ distinguish this top-notch programme among the finest in the market for construction industry professionals.”

Lam Wei Yaw, 34, lawyer

“Great lectures, great lecturers, great notes and having a great time!”

Joel Siah, 29, contracts manager

“The legal knowledge that I acquired from the programme has enhanced my confidence in handling contractual matters. Furthermore, the course played a vital role in my career move to a multinational corporation.”

Kwan Weng Hing, 48, quantity surveyor

“For a construction law practitioner, the course will sharpen your edge, widen your network and bring you places.”

Kelvin Aw, 35, general counsel

“Definitely not for the faint-hearted or half-hearted, this course constantly challenges one to think out of the box and discover the many possibilities that could lead to more effective legislation. It is time-consuming, gut-wrenching and mind-boggling … but one learns to adapt quickly and takes delight in the gems of knowledge that this course imparts …”

Pey Siew Ping, 35, senior contracts specialist

“A challenging but certainly an enlightening course, packed with a wonderful mix of construction law and dispute resolution in England and Singapore, as well as in international practices. It gives the students, regardless of whether one is in the operational, legal or policy-making field, a good understanding of the developments in construction law.”

Ng Cher Cheng, 30, manager

“The programme is managed professionally for working professionals who want to learn about construction law in the midst of their busy schedule. So far, I have benefitted a lot from class discussions with classmates and lecturers. I am beginning to see things from a more balanced perspective rather than looking for a general formula applicable in all situations. It has changed my way of thinking.”

Dedy Suryadinata, 26, design engineer
