Transport from Airport

Airport Shuttle Service

Six-seater Mercedes MaxiCabs are used for this service which go to any hotels in Singapore (except Le Meridien Changi and hotels in Sentosa) and anywhere within the Central Business District. Service counters are located in the Arrival Halls of Terminals 1 and 2 opposite the customs gates. The shuttle leaves when full (i.e. six passengers on board). If not, the shuttle leaves every 15 minutes during peak hours (6:05 pm to 12:00 midnight) and every 30 minutes during non-peak hours (6:00 am to 6:00 pm). The fare is S$8.00 per adult and S$5.00 per child and paid to the driver. Payment can be made in cash or credit cards.
This service is highly recommended for transfer from the airport to your hotel.

Taxi Services
Limousine Taxis
Limousine Taxis (Mercedes Taxis or London Cabs) may be booked at the Limousine Service Counter in the Arrival Halls on Level 1 of Terminals 1 and 2 opposite the customs gates. This service is available from 6:00 am to 2.00 am daily, and brings you to any destination in Singapore at a flat rate of $35.00.

Taxis
One taxi rank is situated outside the Terminal 1 Arrival Hall on Level 1. The other is at the south end of the Terminal 2 Arrival Hall, Level 1. This service is available 24 hours daily. Journeys are metered and charged accordingly. The travel fare from the airport to the city is approximately S$16.00 to S$24.00 (excluding surcharges). The surcharges payable are

Midnight surcharge (midnight-6 am):
50% of metered fare

Airport surcharge:
S$5.00 Friday-Sunday (5 pm to midnight)
S$3.00 all other times

Trains (Mass Rapid Transit)
Budget rides to the city and other parts of the island can be made on the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit). The station is located in Terminal 2 and is also accessible via the Skytrain from Terminal 1. It takes about 27 minutes to travel between the airport and the city and the fare is below S$2.00 (not inclusive of S$1 refundable deposit for single trip ticket). The train service from the Changi Airport station operates at an average frequency of 12 minutes and its service hours are given below:

First train:
5.31 am (Monday to Saturday)
5.59 am (Sunday and Public Holidays)

Last train: 11.18 pm (Daily)

Please note that the luggage brought into the train should not exceed 81 cm x 58 cm x 30 cm.
