Energy Efficiency Award

For the first time, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) together with Public Utilities Board (PUB) will be giving out awards for excellence in building energy efficiency. The proposed criteria being considered for judging are:

integration of architecture and energy;
innovative energy efficient building design;
design for ease of operation and maintenance;
cost effectiveness; and
ease of application and transferability.

Judging will be carried out by a panel comprising senior officers from BCA, PUB, professional bodies and the universities. Details on the awards will be available soon.
